Home Movers Information!

Buying a new property has some tremendous advantages. You can often

negotiate incentives from builders especially if you have sold your own home

and are in a position to complete quickly. And even if you have not sold your

own property you may find your builder can help.

Helping You Sell Your Home Or Buying It From You

Builders often offer “assisted move schemes” where they will pay the estate

agents fees on your house sale and they will help manage the sale.

  • They sometimes offer “Part Exchange” deals where they will buy your

house and take all the worry about the sale of your home out of your mind.

  • You also benefit from buying from experts in the housing field and they can

help pull it all together for you.

Happy With Your Current Lender?

Many customers initially call us when moving to a new home with the intention

of porting or transferring their existing mortgage product and lender over to

their new house, and simply topping this mortgage up. But many lenders do

not allow the incentive schemes that builders offer to assist you. We will help

you set up your package with the builder so that if possible it will fit with

your lender, or if this is not possible we will look for another lender who

will help you.

Not sold yet?

We may be able to help you move home even if your own property is still on

the market. Some lenders will allow you to have 2 mortgages at once while

your property is up for sale, and some lenders will allow you to let out

your current home until a buyer is found. Either way our Mortgage Helpline

will explain what options are available to you and the risks of them. Clearly

you would have to maintain two mortgages at the same time, or perhaps rent

your previous property out.

So whether you want to stay with your current lender or look around at the

whole market, were here to help and to make sure that your incentives will

comply with the lenders rules, and that you get the best possible deal for your new home.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage
